The Faculty of Health and Medicine’s multidisciplinary research and teaching operates across three divisions, delivering high quality teaching and research with national and international impact. Exploring all aspects of infant, child and adolescent care, our Pediatric and Child Health books and journals range developmental and behavioural research to texts on critical care, and allergy and immunology. The Expert Collection is the world’s largest series of review journals in research, development, and clinical medicine. Our Dermatology collection is the ideal companion to any students, researchers or practitioners of this branch of medicine. Divided into clinical medicine, general reference, medical education, revision guides, and surgery, our Medicine collection spans the full spectrum of internal medicine and surgical specialities.

Experience of global health issues including at least one year’s experience in a resource-limited context; the one year’s experience may include all work related to global health including work with government and non-governmental organisations. The third term will involve a funded eight-week placement with a global health project in a resource limited setting. The department will have a series of projects to choose from each year, hosted by partners in various geographic regions. We want to ensure that all our students have the chance to benefit from a range of experiences available at Lancaster.
