The Changing Character of War Centre

Discover the research techniques and skills used in the study of politics. This module unpacks everything you’ll need for conducting research in your own area of interest. WFD’s Sophia Fernandes and Halyna Shevchuk, Ukraine Country Representative, highlight the importance of women’s political participation in conflict resolution and peacebuilding.

Students will receive written feedback on their summative assessment no later than 20 working days; and the module tutor will hold a specific session to discuss feedback, which students can also opt to attend. The module will first examine and compare how civil war endings, specifically victories versus negotiated settlement, shape the evolution of post-war regimes.
